Terms of Service

These terms cover use of this website (getbetween.io), the public demo, and the Between platform. A tutoring company that uses Between signs a separate agreement with us; if that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement wins.

1. The service

Between is a white-label SAT practice platform: practice by topic, homework, session prep, mock tests and parent progress pages, run under each tutoring company’s own name, colours and web address.

2. Accounts and access

Students join a company’s app with a code from that company. Tutors and owners are added by the company. Keep your login private and don’t share access codes. The company decides who has access to its app.

3. The demo

The demo at demo.getbetween.io uses made-up companies, students and data. It may be reset at any time; don’t put real personal information into it.

4. Acceptable use

Use the platform only for its educational purpose. Don’t:

• copy, scrape, resell or redistribute questions, explanations or other content;
• try to get into other accounts or parts of the system you weren’t given;
• use automated tools to access the platform, or interfere with how it runs;
• use it for anything unlawful.

5. Content and ownership

The platform, its software (including the graphing calculator) and its question content belong to Between or our licensors. Companies keep ownership of their own branding and their students’ data. Nothing here gives anyone the right to copy the platform or its content.

6. Fees

Fees for tutoring companies are set in their agreement with us. Students and parents deal with their tutoring company about any fees the company charges.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the platform running and improve it, and we may change or add features. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

8. No guarantees

The platform is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee any test score or academic result. To the extent the law allows, Between is not liable for indirect losses, lost data or interruptions to the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept it.
